Relax and restore
your energies at the Alpina Mar Wellness Parlor, open daily from 07:00 am to
7:00 pm. The sauna can be used daily from 3:00 pm – also earlier on request.
Step two …
Body and soul
balance treatment. A full-body peeling is followed by nice smelling body balms
evaporated through the skin. A perfect health program for the entire body that
enhances metabolism and activates cells adding to a more refined skin
texture.
Step three …
Clarins face
care products are gently applied to the skin, providing soothing effects on both
body and mind.
Step four …
Women’s sauna
every Tuesday from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Especially recommended is the bio sauna
which has a lower temperature and less steam as there is no water poured on the
hot coals like in the Finnish sauna.
Step five …
Ultimate
relaxation offers a foot reflexology massage. During a reflexology treatment the
reflex areas on the feet are gently massaged by applying firm but gentle
pressure with the thumbs and fingers. This activates the self-healing powers of
the body and releases toxins if you drink enough after the massage.
Step six …
Finnish sauna
pluscolored light therapy. Thanks to the sauna’s heat and the steam produced by
pouring water on hot coals both metabolism and the muscle’s blood circulation
are activated. This treatment is recommended only for very experienced sauna
fans with excellent blood circulation.
Step seven …
Enjoy deep
cleansing followed by a gentleface massage including the neck and the
neckline.
Step eight …
A relaxing high
Alpine tanning session brightens your day and ensures unforgettable skiing
holidays. PLEASE BE CAREFUL: always use high quality sunscreen lotion! The
premium Clarins products, for example, are available in our beauty parlor.
Step nine …
Laconium, a Roman
style sauna with underfloor and seat heating, is a gentle, purifying and
detoxifying heat bath. The body gradually warms up to stimulate the circulation
and you start sweating only after a while (recommended time: approx. 40
minutes). This treatment is also suitable for persons suffering from unstable
blood circulation or vein problems.
Step ten …
The most
traditional type of massage is theclassic massage. Our massage therapists use
their hands to knead, rub, roll, stroke and manipulate the soft areas and the
muscles of your body by enhancing blood circulation.
Step eleven …
Lymphatic
drainage uses a range of specialized and gentle rhythmic pumping techniques to
move the skin in the direction of lymph flow. This stimulates the lymphatic
vessels which carry substances vital to the defense of the body and removes
waste products. Recommended for persons suffering from tired and heavy legs.
Step twelve …
The best way to
prevent or cure sore muscles is a magnetic field treatment developed to relieve
pain and hasten the repair of damaged tissue. Furthermore it enhances the
regeneration of nerves and strengthens the body’s immune system. A perfect
morning or evening treatment applied after a soothing massage.
Step thirteen …
All-over tan
guaranteed in our tanning beds. A relaxing sunbed session has many positive
effects on your skin and mood. Tokens for the sunbeds are available at the
reception desk or in the massage parlor.
Step fourteen …
TheOttoman
bath or Turkish steam bath is normally taken at around 45°C with high humidity.
This lower temperature creates a soft, warm atmosphere which has the effect of
stimulating and revitalizing the body. Another alternative is the saltwater
steam bath featuring hot steam enriched with salt used to unblock the sinuses
and bronchial tubes. Also your skin appears softer and smoother.
Step fifteen …
All sauna
parlors are textile-free zones. Please take a towel with you and don’t wear any
synthetic clothes for hygienic reasons.
Step sixteen …
Lean back and
relax after your sauna session. The relaxation parlor makes a truly outstanding
paradise of peace and silence, ideal also for non-skiers or in case of bad
weather. Read your favorite book, take a nap or simply enjoy the stunning Alpine
scenery. That’s recreation at its best.
Step seventeen …
Swimming in
the morning helps to get fit and stay healthy by enhancing the blood circulation
and activating the immune system. This is the perfect start into an exciting day
on the slopes.
Step eighteen …
Cool down in
ourdiving pool at 10°C after a relaxing sauna session. Hot temperatures followed
by a jump into the cold water enhance the autonomic nervous system. The diving
pool is recommended only for experienced sauna fans with an excellent blood
circulation. As an alternative you can take a lukewarm shower.
Step nineteen …
To compensate
the loss of essentialvitamins and minerals after a sauna session or an
adventurous day on the slopes you can enjoy fresh fruit juices or the special
“body and soul mineral drink” served at our Alpina Mar Bar.
Step twenty …
Water
gymnastics aims at boosting the metabolism and has toning effect on muscles and
connective tissue without creating any strain on your joints. An ideal way to
relax your muscles after a long skiing day in the mountains. Perfectly suitable
also for persons who do not practice sports. Afterwards you are warmly invited
to enjoy a few minutes in the 37°C whirlpool.
Step twenty one …
