Good hotel, good food and good food. Tip: the restaurant may take into account your sitting arrangement during breakfast en dinner.

I've entered a full review on TripAdvisor. In summary we were incredibly happy during our stay and would love to return at some point in the future.

We had a fantastic week in the mountains and having the Alpina as our home base for trip made the holiday one to remember, the staff and facilities were brilliant and we will definitely come back for a ski and a hike in the future!!

We had a wonderful hiking holiday at Alpina Sports Hotel. The rooms were comfortable and spotless, the food was excellent, the wellness area with pool and saunas was perfect after a day in the mountains, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We would happily stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The service was fantastic, and all the staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful. The food was outstanding in every respect, with an excellent variety and consistently high quality across all the options available.

Overall, we had a wonderful holiday in a beautiful setting and stunning surroundings, and we truly enjoyed every moment of our time there. We would be delighted to come back and stay with you again in the future.

We have had another wonderful holiday in your lovely hotel. The facilities all round are excellent and the staff have been excellent and are always are happy to help with any question we may have raised regarding the food or even the weather forecast. We have stayed in the Hotel Alpina on numerous occasions and are really looking forward to our forthcoming winter holiday in late January / Early February, staying in the Alpina. We hope that the hotel will be open next summer as we will be booking through our travel agent at the earliest opportunity. On a personal note, we would wish to thank the Platzer family for yet another wonderful holiday staying at their lovely hotel and their friendliness with us as their guests. We had a fantastic stay and a wonderful vacation. This is a hotel we would definitely recommend.
It was disappointing that none of the lifts were operational in Obergurgl what we didn't know.

Quite a number of my comments can perhaps be put down to the fact it was the first week of the summer season. However I do not think it is acceptable that the bar manager did not know which glass to use for a Cognac. Also regarding the dinner menu I do feel several were below the standard I would expect. One last thing, the staff serving dinner on three nights served courses to tables who were behind us in terms of which course they were on, meaning we had large gaps between courses. Again not a major issue but just something to be aware of. I am sure if Valentina had been aware of this it would not have happened.

We always feel made welcome at the Alpina, the staff look after us, the food is delicious and accommodation generally comfortable. Lovely swimming pool and leisure facilities.
