Ski tours in the Ötztal

Your starting point will be already on almost 2,000 metres of altitude so that you can easily reach 3,000 metres during your tours – and there are a few 3,000 metre summits around Obergurgl. Expertise and appropriate experience are an absolute must on these high-alpine ski tours.

Freeriding

Although Obergurgl is obviously a perfect place for skiers, also fans of Nordic winter sports will find excellent cross-country ski tracks. 12 km cross-country ski tracks, a 3 km practice track and a floodlit night track will let you enjoy wonderful rounds in the landscape of Obergurgl-Hochgurgl.

Winter hiking & snow-shoe hiking

An especially contemplative experience in nature will await you during a hike over meadows, wide snow fields and along the Ötztal Ache.
